Will you get the covid vaccine?

@hayabuser I'll check into it but the last tie I researched, both the vaccine and antibodies lasted about the same amount of time. 5 to 8 months. and you have new strains that might be resistant to the old vaccine, I would think the same would be true of antibodies.

My sister in law got the vaccine too close to when she had virus and it was real hard on her so if you do go the route of taking it makes sure u wait awhile.

The lady I rent from also got very ill from the vaccination and she probably also got it too soon after having Covid. I was told to wait 3 months. I could wait a little longer, having the antibodies.

I wouldn't mate.You seem like a decent bloke.The vaccine isn't gonna do Jack sh1t to help you at least.Whats the vaccine supposed to do for you anyway?
 
@murphc13 the antibodies I'm developing right now aren't effective for life. I'm around so many people I'm bound to come in contact with the virus again. Students had to quarantine because they were in close contact with me. It's about time I get on the vaccine routine. That's what it will become. The virus will evolve and there will be corresponding shots we'll need to take to keep up with it.

Same as the common flu....and only 35% of our population here in Canada got that annually...

Most teachers I know got the flu vaccine each year and they all got the Covid one as well. They mentioned they wish there'd be one that was proven for younger people so life can get going again...

Oddly enough, I know quite a few teachers....
