What about Phillips Motel or Fontanna Village?

Or even another option...Maryville/Alcoa area. About a 30 min ride from the Dragon. The dining options are much better there...lol.

the 22-24th is a big maybe for me..... will not have been home for weeks at that point and am already planning a trip the following weekend ....

On the lighter side, I think the beaches this weekend should be good. I'm probably going to trailer up to my parents in Richmond and hit some roads I used to ride growing up

yeah, that new little storm is looking naughty and the worst part is there's ANOTHER one forming off the African coast

I just hope we can get things to settle down some in Mid Oct cuz we have to fly into San Juan for the cruise and at 130ish/night I can't afford to stay over but just so many nights if they change our cruise

Hopefully these things get outta the way and you have a great trip!

Sorry the plans aren't holding up guys...been an already stellar rainy season, so OF COURSE hurricanes have to be tossed in the mix and ruin your plans...it's what I like to call "The Busa Factor"...if you own a Busa, it will rain on your way home from the dealership or on your first chance to ride out, then you will be plagued by rain while setting up dates in advance...it's the curse...

Chin up...there's always next spring...

yep, seems to be the case. no bike, its the warm, dry summer/fall. you get a bike, it rains all the time.

I feel for the folks in FL though, its been a hard season on them. NC has been lucky on hurricanes so far this year.

And we will definately do a spring time deals gap run, so that means you gotta come to that one Michelle!

I'm pretty sure i'm still going... course I was planning on going down sunday morning, and staying till monday... chance of rain is much much smaller for those days.. just in case any of you guys are off on sun/mon you may wanna think it over a bit more and see what it looks like later in the week.

Man you dont know how I wish I could be out there to ride with you guys. MY fishing season has been going pretty good and I could end up the state champ so I gota stick with it.
Please get one of these set up just like this spring and I will be there and maybe I can drag some more of these Iowa guys with me.
