Buying a Gen3?

Here's a lil taste...
I fail to see the point of the video
Firstly, it's filmed on a variety of Real roads amd not a track
Secondly, by common consent, it's an overweight, underpowered barge compared to the plethora of NASA spec. litre bikes who would have comfortably taken those bends at least 2 millionths of a second quicker

One thing I just noticed is it has a "service" warning light....which means it might need to be plugged into the "mother ship" for servicing....

My neighbor said even after the ECU flash on his S1000RR it needed to be plugged in when the service light was on to get rid of it and not have the bike go into "limp mode." Hopefully Suzuki was smarter with their system...

It’s just nice to see it in action on a road, we know it isn’t the fastest out there and not a track weapon.
looking forward to riding impressions.

There's nothing that will compare to the launch of the '99 model where everyone was "gushing" over it...that is a hard act to follow.

I figure this bike will be a capable bike just like it's predecessors.....I did notice corner wallowing where it became unsettled in the video and a little headshake under hard acceleration so it will be more familiar to us current Hayabusa riders I'd imagine.

I can honestly say if I was in the market for a new bike, getting the gen 3 Hayabusa is a no-brainer for me....I'd buy one of these over any other bike on the market.

I love my gen 2 and this is a better version...what's not to love....??

Plugged into the mothership?.....And all I thought I needed was a shop repair manual. Now I guess I'm buying one of those too...Factory code reader $2000.;)

If this system is anything like BMW, you can't clear the codes unless it's plugged into a BMW system. Only they have the codes.

Hopefully Suzuki isn't the same.

Well if it's OBD two, then it should be pretty adaptable. Even if you need the Suzuki program cartridge to communicate with the ECU. A bunch of options there.

I did some research, and there are a lot of potential options out there.

That's how we did it in the past, standard reader, plug in the factory manufacture model disc, and you're a factory tech,

I've been doing some research on the new GEN3 Busa. I like it but not enough to make me trade in my 2020 ZX14r. I have been very happy with it. Also the price on the GEN3 is too high and you don't even get a hump.

What's not to like with this bike? Sad they had to put those huge exhaust on it though...

As a direct competitor of the Hayabusa it is a worthy opponent.....

Sadly every bike seems to have had a sizeable price hike... UK wise a BMW 1250 is heading close to £20k when you add gadgets.
Some sub 1k cc bikes are above £10k and it's soon likely to be the case that bikes out price themselves and become unfavourable with manner current bike owners.

Add in the insurance hikes with outlandish rates for younger riders and the picture of the motorcycling future is getting to look bleak...

And with companies like GM going fully electric by 2035 with more to follow its only a matter of time before they go EV and cost as much as a sports car.

There are already lots of EV offerings in the bike world...but as in all things, the more mainstream they get, the lower the price will be.

I kind of chuckle when we get all the climate change rhetoric and having governments bite hard on EV and environmental policies then look at other countries (of which the list is long) totally ignore all environmental protection....these countries dump raw sewage, toxic chemicals and their streets and roadways are full of non-regulated and EP rated vehicles......and their governments could care less.

Then we come to the EV dilemma....I don't know in what world governments think our power grids can withstand and support everyone charging an EV vehicle when it can barely manage our current demands...
