Gen 3 Performance

I just screenshotted this from an email from
www.motomummy.com FWIW
They drop ship, so who knows on shipping times or inventories.
I have always got great prices and services there.
I thought it was strange that they are listed for gen2 And gen3, 08-22.
That there is no disticntion between the two gens.
But, as said, For What It's Worth.
It's at least a possible lead for anyone looking right now.

Recently the launch control setup was questioned , my mate found his low km Gen 3 bike was not launching , unable to launch correctly using the factory setup . Well , he has since ran up more kilometers , and now the launch works , with the highest rpm launch setting (8500rpm I believe ) to be outstanding . So , when the bike is under the mileage for factory run , the bike is restricted from using the launch to full effect , some other companies do the same thing , KTM being one that comes to mind , to safe guard their motor warranty .
So , that Gen 2 vs Gen 3 drag race tv advertisement currently running in AU , traction control launch was not used that day , the kilometers on that Gen 3 were too low . If it were , that race would of likely seen a better out the hole advantage from the latest Busa .

Chris Moore spoke of this on one of his videos....he was going to hook one up but I didn't see a follow up video on that.
Ya from my understanding he's using the Bazzaz for testing the velocity stacks. The stock stacks seem to really do the job from his last report. Short stacks at the moment until his next video seem to loose power.

Maybe just maybe Suziki did it right and they figured in time we'll unlock the ECU to unleash the true power. But who knows, Brocks and Moore hasn't released anything about the bike in a good minute.

I've read this ECU like a few other modern ones is a hard one unlock....it took over a year to get into the H2 ECU....

It's not just the stack's height, but their shape, openings, and texture.
The new gsxr aftermarket stacks are dramatically different than stock, and their ecu's have been unlocked.
I wouldn't expect any Busa velocity stack improvements until secondary throttle plates, timing, and multiple ecu adjustments can be made, in order for a change in stack design to actually make a difference.
As far as I know Brentune is working on it, and they are the guys that unlock car and bike ecu's that everyone else can't, including the H2 models.
I know most of us can't wait to see what Brock or MooreMafia can get out of an unrestricted gen3.
My only comparison is the new gsxr.
It IS a pathetic slug stock, and truly underwhelming.
Pipe, filter, stacks, dyno And Flash...incredible change, 40whp.
That used get us what? 10whp?
Euro4 emissions have choked them so badly, but based on the gsxr, I'm betting(hoping)the gen3 is going to be a monster....

While I was out running my bike to get the fuel stabilizer through it, a neighbor who lives around a km away was walking by and stopped in to chin wag...

He had a '17 GSXR 1K he sold last summer as he bought it new and had 2500 or so kms on it as he never has time to ride....I found out he was a long time GSXR rider with his first being an '86.

He said he was disappointed in Suzuki when it came to the gen 3 Hayabusa. He said he has watched all the videos and read all the literature on it and thinks Suzuki is relying too much on the aftermarket and tuners to get the bike where it should have been coming out of the factory. I said pretty much all manufacturers rely on those two things so why should Suzuki be any different.
