Gen 3 Performance

Theres some great news coming fron HTP MOTEC ECU lets wait and see as for now 249 hp
I think that number includes quite a bit of engine work as well and won't be an inexpensive venture.

Could probably turbo it for a similar cost.

Can't wait for my exhaust to show up... hopefully it shows up just before the ECU is cracked. and then I'm probably done there aside from a better air filter and synthetic oil. HTP seems to be really pushing the Gen3 performance but as a street rider only with occasional trips to the drag strip or Mexico I can't see going crazy with the bike.
funny story.... I am Puerto Rican, so all my friends think my bike will be stretched, lowered, chromed out and lit up with LEDs all over it probably accentuating some god-awful paint job with and even uglier airbrushed mural of something or other on it. Cannot wait to break that mold! lol

Do either of you still live in Puerto-Rico?
Just curious, because if so, what is the riding like there?
Are sportbikes common, rare?
Any good roads to ride?

I've never lived there.. born and raised in Youngstown, OH then lived in GA for about 10yrs then finally moved to Central FL for the remainder...
I must say... I am 100% Puerto Rican yet I don't speak much spanish, don't see the bike getting super stretched with a wide rear tire and all chromed out, no lights, no gaudy paint jobs and for many Puerto Ricans or New York Ricans (yes that's a thing now) that makes me very UN Puerto Rican. lol
I have been to Puerto Rico as a kid... from what I remember San Juan was really crowded and every where else was hilly and narrow roads...

haha, i think that’s more of a “southern states” thing. if you have ever lived in a that part of the USA you see lots of lowered, stretch, chromed bikes everywhere on the streets. lots of people of puerto rican decent in those states too. out west, you dont see that style of bike as much apart from show bikes.

Yes i live here it depends on the weather but every sunday if you have the day off work and theres sun you can see a lot of bikes sport and the Harley guys too. Yes have sportbikes and some roads are not rideable but some are not me manage to make it happend if it rains you have to get wet theres no other way because in one part of the island the sun can be great but in the other it may rain its a tropical island but if you want to know we ride all year long
