Gen 3 Performance

Its nothing special really other than the Livery. Everything else is available from aftermarket or OEM now.
Pretty much like every Suzuki factory Special Edition, Limited Edition previous Busa then ?
Some of the stores have done runs of limited ones, my 04 was a run of bikes with black screens, polished rims, Yoshi cans, etc, nothing great, but IMO Suzuki never have. There are no real Limited or Special Busa’s, a different coat of paint really isn’t that “Special”.

If they did a productio version with Carbon wheels, 4 into 1, cams or something of note I’d be a lot more impressed and consider it worth of the tag.

if you still have your gixxer 1000 keep it and don't waste your money. Gixxer with some updates are much faster than busa. busa it's a good bike but too slow, just my opinion.

The gsxr1k belongs to one of my best friends, who drives a truck.
So I do the work, maintenance, and ride it like it's mine, as it's lived at my house all it's life...so a good deal, lol.
I currently own an 05 Suzuki Drz400 dual sport, that I need to fix a few things and sell, but it's tagged and insured.
I have a 2012 Kawasaki Concours too, but, I'm going to sell or trade it for another sport bike. It's great, no complaints, I just can't do bars that high, very comfortable, but not normal to me.
As for the Busa, the gen2 is my favorite bike engine, but the bike isn't comfortable to me. The small seat and tank changes were a big deal to me(I sat on a gen3 almost a year ago).
I like the size and power of the Busa, it doesn't have to be the fastest for me.
I can stand a few newer bikes being quicker...but know that I wouldn't be as happy riding them.
And, in all seriousness, I want to supercharge it, wheels, suspension, brakes, stack of tires, etc
Thats alot of money, the mods cost what the bike does, so alot to consider.
In the meantime I'll keep riding my cheap and free bikes, and even though I complain about prices and gen3 with some unresolved issues/brakes/starts/qs lag...but I Still want one, lol...a black 2023
we'll see

I'm just wondering in which world is the Busa too slow? If you're not doing drag racing with it or going to the race track, does the Busa have power reserves that are enough for 5 bikes at once?

More and more speed limits, more and more controls, more and more rules to slow down the combustion engines. Does it really always have to be the extreme?

In addition, the Busa is not about having the biggest part in your pants and saying "I'm the fastest", but about the feeling, the power, the sovereignty and the character. And even if it's a bit slower than drilled-out superbikes, does it still have characteristics that you don't find there?

If it goes after that, everyone should drive a Kawasaki H2 R?! :)

I mean generation 3. My previous blue Gen 2 2017 Busa was fastest and able to race side by side with my friends fast bikes (ZX10R-Gsx1000rr, BMW 1000RR) in Florida. I understand that everything is in development and research to make Gen 3 faster and that's good. Not to mention clutch mod, cams, heads, fuel, etc., no one has confirmed that this works 100%. For Example ,HTP started with stacks, then another guy created billet stacks, now carbon stacks. I think all the performance racing parts are prototype projects to see if they really work. Don't get me wrong, I have my silver busa and I like it. but i hope someone hits the nail on the new busa and makes the gen 3 faster like it's supposed to be. Again it is just my opinion.....
