ok - looks like I will be riding by the end of this weekend on my own busa...not because I dont want to wait until the 06 model comes out - but because I dont have a choice...(company car needs to be handed over tomorrow).

dunno if I should be happy or sad...

The 06's come out in 4 days, don't they. I'm excited. Might have to "trade up" if there are any decent changes.

It would be premium suckage if I bought the 05 today and found out that the new one comes out on Wednesday with a few nice upgrades and bug-fixes...

My fear is - the new one, if it is at all redesigned, will have bugs that the 1st gen owners will have to work around

That would make the 05 more attractive to me regardless of any performance difference.

Whatever is the case - 05 or 06 - if they are both on the table for purchase next week then I will make a decision and come along for the ride.

GS- I thought they were comming out on Sept 14th, what I heard from the dealership anyway.

Zuk- It has been a while, hasn't it. Sorry, Things have been very busy, especially with mom's situation. She is doing much better and eating well now. I still have to be there alot just to make sure she doesn't have problems. If she falls hard that will pretty much be it, so I'm trying to do my best for her (though she tells a different story

)

Well get up soon. Lets ride with lordwago, he lives close also.

I met up with zukracer...what a blast

Checked out the 02 bike and basically got to know each other. If everyone else is as "fun" as Zuk - then the deals gap weekend is gonna be a total hoot!
